Street Fighter V uscirà per SteamOS / Linux

Ad annunciarlo è Capcom stessa tramite il suo account Steam CapcomUnity, in un annuncio nel Community Hub del suo gioco:

Hey everyone. I’m excited to announce that Street Fighter V will be officially supporting Steam OS! We are working closely with Valve on this endeavor, and will have more details to announce in the near future, so stay tuned for updates.

Street Fighter V will also support the Steam controller, and you’ll be able to try that out right away during the upcoming beta test that takes place from December 18~20.

Tradotto e riassunto, sono molto contenti di annunciare che Street Fighter V supporterà ufficialmente SteamOS. Stanno lavorando con Valve "dietro le quinte" e avranno molti altri annunci in futuro. Inoltre il gioco supporterà nativamente lo Steam Controller, e ci sarà una closed beta dal 18 (oggi) al 20 Dicembre, non è chiaro se questa beta sia solo per Windows o anche SteamOS.

Cosa capiamo da questo annuncio? Valve si sta dando veramente molto da fare, e collabora con le principali software house per portare giochi degni di nota sulla sua piattaforma. Se Capcom porterà un titolo del genere è molto probabile ne porterà anche altri, come i suoi Resident Evil. È inoltre facile supporre che stiano lavorando per supportare le Vulkan fin dal giorno dell'uscita, ma staremo a vedere.
